Both meetings will be held in the Hunter Halls of the University of Glasgow, University Avenue, Glasgow G12 8QQ, UK

BMSS-ISO-SIG will run all day on Tuesday 13th January and finish at 12.00 pm on Wednesday, 14th January.

SIMSUG 2009 will run from 2.00 pm on Wednesday 14th January and all day on Thursday, 15th January.

Getting here by Road. The M8 motorway passes through the middle of Glasgow:

Heading West on the M8, take the Dumbarton Exit (J17);
Stay in the right hand lane and head West along Great Western Road;
Keep going for 1 mile to the Byres Road junction (Botanic Gardens on right);
Turn left into Byres Road. In 600 yards, turn left into University Avenue.

For those driving, parking is not always available on campus and parking charges apply on local roads.  You are advised to leave the car at your hotel and take public transport to the university. Glasgow has excellent public transport links. 

By Public Transport . Glasgow has good local rail and bus links. Glasgow also hosts the second oldest underground system in the world.
